Ram's front-wheel-drive full-size cargo van, built on the Fiat Ducato platform under license from Stellantis's Fiat Professional and sold in North America since May 2014. Front-wheel drive is uncommon among Sprinter-class vans and gives the ProMaster a lower, flat unibody floor and vertical-sided (square) load box; Ram markets front-wheel drive as a class-exclusive feature.
The current lineup spans three wheelbases — 118 in., 136 in. and 159 in. — with Low Roof and High Roof options (a Super High Roof is offered on the longest, 159 in., body). Ram's own materials cite a maximum payload of 4,750 lb, with Stellantis fleet documentation putting the practical Cargo Van range at 3,800–4,820 lb across the lineup.
Ram markets the ProMaster's cargo width as best-in-class: up to 75 in. at its widest point, narrowing to 56 in. between the wheel wells — the figure that matters for a bed placed crossways, marginally wider than the Ford Transit's equivalent 54.8 in.
